The house provides accommodation for up to 6 guests, including children, in 4 bedrooms; it has 3 bathrooms (master bedroom has ensuite bathroom with shower cubical. The house is non-smoking throughout hence no smoking, no vaping, no e-cigarettes and no candles are allowed in the house. Pets are not allowed as the property is not suitable for pets. Children of all ages are welcome.
About facilities at this property, it has a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle/toaster, coffee/tea facilities, washing machine and a dishwasher. All bed linen, towels, basic toiletries and hand wash soap/body and hair wash/shampoo are provided for our guests at this property.
The house is in a quiet and secure area of Derby is located on a closed road (Cul-de-sac) that is just 5 mins drive from the well know Meteor Shopping Centre and only 15 mins drive from Derby city centre. University of Derby is just 10 mins drive away, while the Nottingham Castle is under 30 mins drive from the house.
Peak District - that is an area of exceptional natural beauty is about 30 to 40 mins drive from the house depending on where in the Peak District you intend to visit.
In addition to the Meteor and Derbian shopping centres, Windmill Inn - a local pub with restaurant is just 7 mins walk from the house; they welcome children of all ages and are open for breakfast as well (we recommend that you reserve a table).
Fire safety checks are regularly conducted at this property and it is equipped with integrated smoke and fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms in all rooms and communal areas that are directly linked with the local fire department. So please, please DO NOT smoke or vape anywhere in this house as it may trigger fire alert and the local fire department will be at the house within a few minutes, asking everyone to leave the house. We cannot stress it enough as guests have been asked to leave in the past who did not adhere to the house rules.
